Marketing Intern

POSITION DETAILS AND REQUIREMENTS:

The Greening Law Group is a rapidly growing elite criminal defense law firm. We are looking for a highly motivated, creative, and driven Marketing Intern to join our team in the College Station, Texas office. This individual will help build client relationships and provide an excellent experience throughout the client journey. The Marketing Intern will be responsible for supporting The Greening Law Group’s overall marketing and sales goals by strategizing, implementing, and maintaining both digital and organic marketing efforts through a variety of channels – including event planning, email marketing, client outreach, and social media interaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assisting in the daily growth and development of marketing and sales campaigns.

• Embracing the opportunity to produce content for a variety of channels such as print, digital, ads, blogs, social media, and more.

• Creating content to sustain readers’ curiosity and create buzz around company campaigns and initiatives.

• Developing and documenting new / better ways to get stuff done. Any and every idea you have will be heard. Seriously.

• Assisting with maintaining ongoing campaigns for The Greening Law Group, with video and blog content rolling out weekly.

• Staying on top of emerging marketing trends & industry headlines.

• Helping figure out what’s working and what’s not by generating and presenting weekly reports.

• Driving the creation of original concepts that result in effective and compelling communication.

• Occasional short-distance travel is required.

REQUIREMENTS/EXPECTATIONS:

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Associate’s program majoring in Marketing or a related field, such as Communications, Graphic Design, Business Management, Videography, etc.
• Must be able to work ~20 hours per week
• Ability to operate in an office setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
• A working understanding of print and digital media (including static, audio, and video)
• Demonstrated work ethic, goal-orientation, strong self-discipline, and history of academic success
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, critical thinker, leader, team player, and self-managed learner
• Ability to work quickly and stay on task
• Skilled at handling multiple projects with varied deadlines and priorities

To excel in this role, you will display a passion for helping those in need, a strong understanding of basic marketing techniques and strategies, and exceptional public-speaking skills. You should also show compassion towards our clients and conduct yourself in a professional manner, irrespective of the crime they have been accused of. This job requires not only respect and patience with clients but also with all other team members. To be a good fit, you must exceed expectations in this.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Strong writing and grammar skills
• Strong skills in customer service and/or client management
• Proven success in social media strategy and/or graphic design
• Knowledge and passion for sports, specifically college football (gig ‘em!)
• Prior experience in the legal industry (especially criminal) is a plus but not required
