Greg Silber
Greg Silber is our private investigator at The Greening Law Group. Joining the firm in 2020, Greg assists in finding all the information on your case by visiting crime scenes, reading case reports and probable cause statements, and locating and re-interviewing witnesses. Greg also assists the attorneys with the jail visits of clients.
His father was military, and Greg grew up between numerous states and three foreign countries. He calls San Antonio, Texas home, as it’s where he’s spent the majority of his life. Greg graduated from Holmes High School in San Antonio in 1973 before attending college. He attended multiple schools, including Southwest Texas State University. Greg has also attended classes at the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia.
Greg has done investigative work for 42 years as a San Antonio Police Officer from 1975 to 2002 and then served as a College Station Police Officer from 2005 to 2009. After his policing career, Greg became an investigator for the Brazos County District Attorney’s office from 2009 to 2017. His biggest accomplishments are having a long career which he totally enjoyed, and life-saving commendation. Recently, one of his investigations resulted in an Appellate Reversal for a client!
In his free time, Greg enjoys golfing, fishing, and shooting. His favorite destination is the Frio River, and he one day hopes to retire there. His favorite band is AC/DC, and his favorite song is Highway to Hell.
Greg’s go-to drink is unsweetened tea!
