The Greening Law Group is a rapidly growing elite criminal defense law firm. We are looking for a highly motivated, creative, and driven Director of Operations (DOO) to join our team in the College Station, Texas office. You are a utility player who can play any position on the team. You’re all about hustle, grit, and innovation. You understand the importance of the broad vision of the firm but can instantly focus on the smallest of details to solve problems and create success. You want to be part of a growing law firm with a goal to serve citizens accused all across Texas and the United States. You have:
- Proven experience as a Director of Operations, Manager, or relevant role
- 2+ years experience managing a complex enterprise’s client services, operations and strategies
- 2+ years experience managing, developing and empowering teams
- High EQ with a natural ability to connect and build relationships
- Proven experience in strategic planning and business development.
- Experience driving efficiencies through process improvement
- Proactive, assertive, take charge, and competitive tendencies
- Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
- Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
- Aptitude in sound decision-making and problem-solving in pressure situations
- A proven track record of outstanding performance in a previous complex enterprise.
- Served in a Director of Operations or Manager role at a high-growth entrepreneurial organization with 250+ active clients or customers
- Managed teams with 10+ team members

Key Responsibilities:
- Driving the company’s operating capabilities to surpass client satisfaction and retention and company goals
- Assessing and implementing improved processes and new technologies and collaborating with team leaders regarding the implementation of these improvements
- Working with client-facing team members to ensure every Greening Law Group client feels important and appreciated
- Managing and tracking performance of each team member
- Building processes and infrastructure for current and new services
- Delegating responsibilities to ensure team members grow as capable participants
- Leading the initiative for firm-wide continuing education
- Working with the Director of Marketing to execute recruiting initiatives
- Developing a new system to train and onboard new hires
- Working with team leaders to complete performance reviews for team members
To excel in this role, you will display a passion for helping those in need, a strong understanding of business operations and EOS, and exceptional public-speaking skills. You should also show compassion towards our clients and conduct yourself in a professional manner, irrespective of the crime they have been accused of. This job requires not only respect and patience with clients, but also with all other team members. To be a good fit, you must exceed expectations in this.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with case management software
- Knowledge of EOS
- Strong skills in customer service and/or client management
- Proven success in growing a law firm or start-up to at least 3x growth
- Prior experience in the legal industry (especially criminal) is a plus, but not required
